AARITILA - ...Ennen Huomista... LP/CD
Finnish/Swedish project from members of Totalitar, Meanwhile, Riistetyt and a host of others. Exactly what you'd think this would amount to: Straight ahead Scandinavian hardcore. "No metal, no funk, no death. Just plain Discharge type hardcore just the way it was meant to be." (Feral Ward #52)

BORN DEAD ICONS - Modern Plague 7"
Born Dead Icons are cruising town with a dark and heavy sounding rumble that is influenced by both Motorhead and Amebix. Four tracks of harsh sounding hardcore that is powerful and depressing sounding. (G.A.S.R/Witch Hunt #8)

CALL THE POLICE - 1984 In 2003 CD
Here we have a post-humous realease by this Portland, OR punk band. Female fronted hardcore punk with a lot of cool melodies, similar to Burning Kitchen, mixed with some more UK sounding punk influences like Varukers, or Vice Squad. Yet another band with members of Tragedy... and also some ex-members of Run For Your Fucking Life. Great. (Feral Ward #18)

COMPLICATIONS - s/t LP
Recorded in 2007 and only now released. Dark and brooding, thick, dense, tense and layered, taking cues from Killing Joke and New Model Army yet retaining traits of their Born Dead Icons past. Gets better with every listen. Definitely a grower not a shower. (Feral Ward #50)

CRUDE - 1999 LP
Crude's been around since 1995 and have come to define the 'hakodate sound'; Melodic and layered japanese hardcore played with heart and drive. This LP precedes 'Attitude', originally released in 1999, sold out soon thereafter, and now available again. (Feral Ward #55)

DEATH SIDE - Bet on the Possibility LP
Feral Ward found some of the original pressing they did, so there aren't very many of these. Yes, they are expensive due to band royalties. Second LP from Japan's DEATH SIDE reissued officially! Never mind those shit euro bootlegs, these are top-quality legitimate reissues. Legendary Japanese hardcore at its best. No long-winded glamorizing write-up needed. (Feral Ward Records #77)

DEATH SIDE - Wasted Dream LP
Feral Ward found some of the original pressing they did, so there aren't very many of these. Yes, they are expensive due to band royalties. The debut LP from Japan's one and only DEATH SIDE has finally received a proper US reissue - Never mind those shit euro bootlegs, these are top-quality legitimate reissues. Legendary Japanese hardcore at its best. No long-winded glamorizing write-up needed. "Death Side is the greatest hardcore punk band in Japan. They prefer to remain enigmas, hardly ever consenting to do interviews. Yet their popularity has grown tremendously in Japan over time ... the four members of Death Side have been converting 100 energy into a pure hardcore explosion while continually adding to their music, mutating and progressing into a beast of their own. (Feral Ward Records #76)

HAZARD/FIGHTBACK - split LP
FINALLY !! The vinyl version from Hiroshima's BLOODSUCKER RECORDS CD is out! For those who're not familiar with these two Tokyo Hard Core bands, FIGHTBACK play fast and angry hardcore, that reminds me of Bastard's DEAR COPS! 5 slaughtering hardcore assaults for them, including a Discharge cover that you can guess from their band name. The band has an amazing pedigree including Tokurow from Bastard / Judgement and Ironfist Tatsushima (G.I.S.M., Crow, Die You Bastard!, etc...) on this record. HAZARD is a longtime running Punk Hardcore band, delivering primitive bursts of chaos and aggression since 1991! Check their new record "Punk Addict" on Bloodsucker! (Bloodsucker Records/Kick Rock)

INEPSY - Lost Tracks LP
No surprises here, just 7 more songs of the catchy, gritty, stompin' punk that Inepsy was known for. Basic tracking originally done in 2009, subsequently finished in 2017, and finally released now. No self-aggrandizing review hoping for flavor-of-the-day treatment. Love them or hate them, Inepsy didn't care and doesn't now. Comes with a large poster. (Feral Ward Records #70)

KIELTOLAKI - Vapauden Illuusio LP
Blazing, powerful, relentless and simple hardcore. No schtick, no gimmick, just aggression. Their second LP. They now have 2 LPs and 1 7" on Feral Ward. The first LP is sold out but the 7" is still available. (Feral Ward Records #87)

KRIG I HUDRIK - s/t 7"
Members of Totalitar doing lots of old Swedish punk covers plus a few originals. (Feral Ward #60)

KVOTERINGEN - Samhallets Forradare LP
Kvoteringen is a Swedish punk rock band formed 2003 in Örebro. The band plays a style of Scandinavian D-beat and hardcore punk. Members are Jallo-guitar & bass, Fredrik Larzon-drums and Calle-vocals. The band share members with Meanwhile, Millencolin, Ääritila, Totalitär, No Security, Skitslakt, and Dischange among others. (Feral Ward #61)

LEBENDEN TOTEN - Near Dark CD
Evasive Portland via Japan noisecore on its second full-length. CD includes the sold out Death Culture Deprivation 8" and Poison Wave 7". Eighteen tracks in total. Not for the faint of heart. (Feral Ward #58)

MEANWHILE - Reality or Nothing LP/CD
First lp release since 1999, Meanwhile never wavered from the trademark heavy hardcore that sweden, and themselves as part of the old-guard, are known for. 14 songs (as usual) of (as usual) loud, proud, uncompromising hardcore. This is the band at their rawest and most aggressive. Members were/are also in: Totalitar, Disfear, No Security, Imperial Leather, Burning Kitchen, Kvoteringen, Aaritila, Krigshot, Dischange, Varukers, etc, etc. Heavy tip-on sleeves. (Feral Ward #15)

MEANWHILE - Remaining Right: Silence LP
Meanwhile's first release, this CD-only album from 1994, put to vinyl. Mean, in-your-face heavy hardcore recorded at Sunlight by Tomas Skogsberg and Dismember's Fred Estby. Members were/are also in: Totalitar, Disfear, No Security, Imperial Leather, Burning Kitchen, Kvoteringen, Aaritila, Krigshot, Dischange, Varukers, etc, etc. Heavy tip-on sleeves. (Feral Ward #17)

MORNE - Untold Wait CD
First full-length from this Boston crust outfit. Don't let the tired designation fool you though. This is a slick, well-produced mix of Neurosis ambience and Axegrinder churn. Heavy, brooding and venomous. (Feral Ward #63 CD)

NEWTOWN NEUROTICS - Hypocrite 7"
If there was a vote for the best lyrical content in the 80s Punk songs, Steve Drewett of Newtown Neurotics would probably have blown everyone out of the water with his sharp to the point lyrics about the socio-political situation in the UK back during the Thatcherism. That aside, Newtown Neurotics were one of the best UK Punk bands of the second Punk wave. "Hypocrite / You Said No" was their first release from 1979. (Feral Ward Records #86)

SELFISH - Life Has No Vacant Time LP
Finnish style debauchery put to vinyl. Selfish has existed since 1989. Over the years their sound has changed from raw, d-beat crust akin to Doom and Extreme Noise Terror, to skilled and intricate, Burning Spirits styled hardcore, heavily influenced by Death Side and so many other Japanese bands. (Feral Ward Records #71)

TRAGEDY - 1st LP
Back in print! Tragedy came from the ashes of His Hero Is Gone and Deathreat and this first album shaped the sound of hardcore/punk from 2000 and on. This debut LP is a hardcore classic - as good, if not better, than anything that His Hero Is Gone or Deathreat ever released. The songs are exactly what you would expect, with the addition of some fantastic melodic elements. A truly great record finally available once again! Back in print with a spot of orange to mark the new pressing!. (Tragedy Records #1)

TRAGEDY - Darker Days Ahead CD
The vinyl version has been delayed due to mastering problems, but we received the CD today. The 4th album from this well respected DIY hardcore band that features ex-members of His Hero Is Gone, From Ashes Rise, Copout, Severed Head of State, Call The Police, Criminal Damage, Deathreat, Well Away, Uranus, etc, etc... The CD comes in a unique heavy paper 6 panel case. (Tragedy #6)

TRAGEDY - Fury LP
Six new Tragedy songs on a 45 rpm 12" with a "tip-on" vintage style jacket that comes printed with green this time around; also green vinyl. The songs are less metallic than "Darker Days Ahead" and more reminiscent of Tragedy's classic dark melodic sound. For fans of Tragedy. Members of Tragedy have also played with His Hero Is Gone, Trauma, Union of Uranus, Severed Head of State, Deaththreat, Copout, Call the Police, Criminal Damage, Warcry, and From Ashes Rise (plus tons more). (Tragedy Records #7)

TRAUMA - s/t LP
Trauma features the singer from early '80s Portland hardcore band Final Warning on vocals, along with Billy from Tragedy/Deathreat/His Hero is Gone/From Ashes Rise on guitar, and Todd from Tragedy/His Hero Is Gone/Deathreat/Warcry on drums. They play raging Portland hardcore that can be compates to a more raw and stripped down Deathreat. (Feral Ward #75)

WARCRY - Not So Distant Future CD
Bulldozer heavy hardcore again on this 3rd LP. Warcry doesn't deviate. 10 songs of modern Discharge/Meanwhile influenced punk from members of Tragedy, His Hero is Gone, Hellshock, Talk is Poison, Estranged, etc, etc. (Feral Ward #51)
